Emotional Intelligence Test – MSCEIT
The Mayer Salovey Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test (MSCEIT) was developed by the originators of the psychological theory of Emotional Intelligence, Professors Peter Salovey (Yale University), Jack Mayer (University of New Hampshire) and Dr David Caruso (Yale University).
The MSCEIT is unique among Emotional Intelligence Tests in that it is the ONLY Emotional Intelligence test which measures actual Emotional ability.
The MSCEIT assesses your ability to problem solve with and about emotions in 4 key areas:
- Recognising emotions,
- Using emotions to assist thinking,
- Understanding emotion and
- Using emotion to reach effective longer term outcomes.
The tool has been validated and grounded based on 12 years of research.
The MSCEIT is the only current published performance measure of your emotional intelligence abilities, and is not a self reporting tool like other EI Assessments.
The MSC Emotional Intelligence Test is easily undertaken online at your own speed and convenience.
We debrief your results privately and confidentially during a one-one feedback/coaching session which can be face to face or via phone.
